The Council is an essential part of the DAO governing and management system. The Council members are responsible for implementing the DAO's proposals. They are the gatekeepers of the Treasury and Distribution Wallet. Think about them as the 'management team.' There will be 5 Council Members. Each tier of the NFT Collection (Primus, Centuri, Principa and Tirones) will have a representative that the members of their tier will vote for. The 5th Council Member will be from the previous team to provide access and know-how. There will be a 1-year mandate for 4 of the Council Members. Once the term has ended, a new voting process will begin for 4 new Council Members. The 5th member (can be someone other than the previous team) will remain in the new Council to provide access and know-how. The vote for the 5th Council Member will be held by all Primus, Centuri, Principa and Tirones NFT holders as they'll have a longer term. To be eligible for a Council Member position, you must have at least 1 NFT of any tier and hold a minimum of 0.1% of the total supply of $LEGION they'll have to lock until the end of their term. The Council Members will have many benefits, to name a few: free $LEGION tokens, access to exclusive information from a massive network, know-how, and the list goes on.
